Welcome to the all new BonTon Blog. We want to make this blog fun, informative and a place for you to follow what's new in the handmade tile business. As we are entering our third year in the industry this seems like the next logical step for BonTon on the web!

The past few months have been very busy for us in the studio. Last week we completed, and shipped, all of our showroom orders from Coverings 2009. The show was great, but not without its challenges. We battled against low buyer turnout, questionable booth placement (not our fault) and the expense of a week in Chicago! At any rate, we persevered an made the best out of it opening about 17 new dealers. These dealers represent locations all over the USA. From Florida to California, and Maine to Arizona. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth!

In April, the World Floor Covering Association, contacted us about being part of their national media tour. BonTon was 1 of only 10 companies to be selected. The WFCA presented our tile and capabilities to some of the largest media outlets in the business. Stay tuned as we will let you know if we are highlighted in any of these well-known magazines.

BonTon Handmade Tile handbags have also taken off. The response at Coverings was so positive we are now making them to order. In addition, Surfaces, one of the tile industries largest trade shows will be featuring them in Las Vegas 2010. If you are in Vegas next February you must stop by.

Earlier this year we entered into an exciting collaboration with Landmark Metalcoat in Temecula CA. We have combine BonTon handmade field tile with Landmark metalcoated decorative accessories. The result was a fantastic combination enhancing both lines!
